The Bluegrass Revolution is a hard driving string band based out of Oakland, California.

Coming from varied musical backgrounds, members of The Revolution blend hints of bluegrass, alt-country, gypsy jazz, blues and progressive acoustic music all with the traditional sounds of the acoustic guitar, fiddle, mandolin, and upright bass.

Were back for our regular spot over at our favorite Irish Pub, The Plough and Stars, this time for the 2010 Red, White and Bluegrass Show. Just a couple of bucks at the door gets you a night with some of the best local string band acts around. Red, White and Bluegrass is brought to you by Shelby Ash Presents.
